Inspired by the original "perambulating libraries" of the 1850’s we've reignited the bookmobile for a new era.

The retail landscape changed after 2020, and so did the act of reading. As we began to evaluate our post covid needs they collectively surrounded our family, friends, and experiences.

Our bespoke 18-foot trailer rolls into festivals, breweries, farmer's markets, corporate campuses, retirement homes, vineyards, concert venues, and anywhere readers gather — stocked with the newest titles, the classics, and a bit of non-fiction for every reader. We have a highly curated Children’s and Young Adult section to start and keep them reading.

In 1905, Mary Titcomb drove a horse-drawn carriage across Maryland with the words Serve the Entire County written on its side. That spirit lives here. Books belong in everyone's hands. Every purchase supports the Tommy Fund, Inc. — a beloved Connecticut organization providing help and comfort to children with cancer and their families. This cause is personal to us. Our son was diagnosed with cancer at eleven years old, and we witnessed firsthand the impact the Tommy Fund made for families like ours.
